Nursing home neglect and injuries were already a common occurrence prior to COVID-19 or better known as the CoronaVirus. What constitutes nursing home neglect or abuse? Here are some examples:

These horrible things are caused by a number of preventable factors. Unfortunately, many nursing homes put profits over people. Instead of caring about the people they are paid to care for, they only care about the bottom line. If you think this may be an issue where your loved one is staying look for the following factors:

• Is the nursing home properly staffed?
• Does the patient get up and move enough?
• Does the doctor or nurse spend enough time with the patient?
• Is the doctor or nurse listening and charting things accurately?

We strive to make the world a safer place. We wish lawsuits were not needed, however, we see these things happen over and over again.
