Starting January 1, 2023, many larger cities and counties are changing how the police respond to car wrecks. Hamilton County is following other larger counties and discontinuing the practice of having police officers make reports, investigate, and handle car wrecks that they deem “minor” or not, resulting in immediate injuries.
